Diana Callaghan
Originally from the metro-Detroit area, Diana Callaghan has nearly 15 years of experience working locally, nationally, and globally serving innovative companies and social impact organizations. Most recently, Diana co-led the Advisory Services practice at a local social impact strategy and investment firm. Over the last five years, her team worked with more than 40 organizations on engagements designed to enhance financial sustainability, growth, and scale.
Prior to returning to Michigan, Diana worked as a consultant at EY in the Financial Services Office in New York City, where she managed the implementation of data analytics solutions for Fortune 500 financial services companies. While at EY, she served as Co-Chair of EY Unity’s Women Subcommittee of New York City and tri-state area.
Outside of her career, Diana has worked with organizations focused on accelerating entrepreneurship and impact across the world. She served as a consultant with entrepreneurs across Tanzania through a USAID fellowship and advised a leading social impact organization in rural India on how to adopt innovative financial tools to support the empowerment of women living in extreme poverty. She currently serves as a board member of Detroit Hispanic Development Corporation and is on the Advisory Committee of EmpowerChange, a Ford Motor Fund and Michigan Women’s Forward pitch competition supporting women social entrepreneurs.
Diana received both her B.A. in Economics with high distinction and her MBA with distinction from the University of Michigan where she was the Director of Investments for the Social Venture Fund and a Zell Lurie Institute Entrepreneurship Scholar. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies and was previously nominated for the Harold D. Osterweil Prize in Economics.
When she is not supporting high-impact entrepreneurs, you can find her playing her collection of found instruments, cooking, traveling, and telling bad dad jokes.
